August Update
Backoffice 2.0 is here: a new Home screen, global search, rebuilt Analytics, and dozens of improvements.
This release brings a new Home screen, global search, and rebuilt Analytics, plus improvements across invoicing, documents, and integrations.
A new Home screen
Open Backoffice and see everything that matters at a glance: today's sales, open tasks, pending shift swaps, the latest reviews, and the weather. Corporation accounts get a group-level overview.
Create from anywhere: start a task, shift, document, or employee invite straight from the top of the page.
Today at a glance: sales and labour costs side by side, with a pace bar showing how the day is tracking.
Action cards: today's tasks, shift swaps waiting for a decision, documents to sign, and monthly budgets.
Team view: who is away this week, plus upcoming birthdays and work anniversaries.
Global search
Find people, tasks, and pages from anywhere in the app. Results appear as you type.
People: find employees by name and jump straight to their profile.
Tasks: search tasks and open them right from the results.
Grouped results: matches are grouped by type, with a view-all link when there is more to see.
Quick navigation: go-to suggestions take you straight to pages and settings.
Analytics, rebuilt
Analytics is now organised by topic: Overview, Menu, People, and Costs. Today's numbers refresh every 15 minutes.
Overview: your monthly sales target, the key figures, and patterns like busiest hours, payment methods, and zones.
Menu: top products and category mix, with filters for dishes, modifiers, goods, and services.
People: sales per person with clear attribution to the waiter or cashier, plus shift targets.
Costs: purchases and supplier price changes, leakage from voids, write-offs, and discounts, and a full profit-and-loss view.
Your filters everywhere: location, date range, comparison, and prices with or without VAT.
Also in this update
Smarter invoice scanning: the AI engine reads large, complex invoices more accurately, remembers your vendors, and gives accountants a dedicated review view.
Rivile GAMA integration: export documents and explore reports with full account hierarchy and client transactions.
Documents & signing: upload any document for signing, control who sees each document, and enjoy a faster PDF viewer. Corporations get roll-up views across all companies.
Sales targets: redesigned around daily plans that adapt through the month.
Plus: a new activation checklist for new teams, weather in your analytics, safer Google Drive permissions, and faster loading across the app.
